Youth round up

Under 7

After an away training session last week it was time to return to Chapel Gate.

The theme over the past few weeks has been handling and passing. This weeks session was designed around receiving the ball at speed rather than a standing start. This is all geared towards giving them skills at speed when they can start to look for space and hopefully the elusive try line.

As it was a bit chilly we also wanted to keep the little lion cubs warm with running and making sure their passes are aimed at their team mates tummy so they have the best chance of catching it.

Finally we aimed to complete 26 consecutive passes in honour of the boss aka Janet "Mo Farah" McKrill who is running the London Marathon in aid of Get Kids Going charity.

You can follow Janet's story and support Janet at
