Teamwork | Respect | Enjoyment | Discipline | Sportsmanship
This weekend saw another cold weekend for our youth teams with most of them at home at Chapel Gate. It was evident around the pitches that the players are developing their rugby skills. Now that we are moving into the second half of the season we look forward to seeing our younger players putting the core values and training into practice.
Under 9 News
I have to say that today was one of the best sessions we've had in a long time. Really good levels of effort and application from everyone, well done Under 9s! I think the break has done everyone a power of good so let's all try to keep that momentum going through to the end of the season please. It's so much more enjoyable for everyone if the coaches aren't having to stop and talk to players about behaviour.
We've reintroduced the player of the week medals for the rest of the season but they aren't going to be awarded on a rotational basis as they were in the younger age groups. They will be given for good effort and behaviour in line with our core values. So on that point, well done to Jack and Josh today for getting stuck in and keeping going throughout the session.
