Bournemouth captain Joe Rees wants the club to maintain their good home record next season in National Two South.
The table-topping Lions have just one more Chapel Gate fixture left now after avenging their only defeat so far this season against a Will Greenwood-coached Maidenhead.
The Lions sealed a 29-10 bonus-point win over Greenwood’s men and Rees said he was delighted to keep fortress Chapel Gate intact.
Rees said: “Our home record is unreal, I think to have not lost here since 2017, that is a big one for the boys and we want to keep that one going and maintain it next season as well.
“We just turned up today against Maidenhead and everything was positive - our fitness I think showed and we did not force the issue because we knew that if we went through four or five phases of possession then we would get the better of them and our penalty count was brilliant today.
“There were a lot of lads blowing in this heat today - including me - and the sun takes it out of you but we knew that however deep in the hole we were then they would be in it just as bad if not worse than us.”
Rees had a big hand - or foot - in the decisive fourth try which sealed their 16th four-try scoring bonus point in 24 games so far this season.
The number eight showed great footballing skills to control the ball at the back of a late five-metre scrum - which eventually earned the crucial penalty try.
With just one more home game left now against bottom-of-the-table Old Patesians on Saturday, April 13, Rees said his players had not been short of motivation leading up to Maidenhead.
Rees added: “The result against Maidenhead sent out a massive message to the other teams in this division because it means we are not just there at the top of the table by luck because we have really cemented our place at the top, and we deserve to be there.
“It feels really good to right the wrongs that happened up at their place back in December.
“They are a really quality outfit and are well drilled and I think that we probably left about four or five tries out there but a win is a win at the end of the day.
“I think righting a few wrongs was massive motivation for the boys involved today to right the wrong of losing to them earlier in the season.
“We were gutted when we went down there and we were well beaten at their place, and they deserved to win so it was nice to get one back over them.”
