Will Croker has praised the strength in depth of Bournemouth Rugby with a number of the club’s sides enduring tough fixtures this weekend.
It is not all about the first team who top South West Premier division by 12 points with the player pathway clear to see.
In recent weeks, second row Harry Leadbeater has made the step up from the Seconds to the Firsts and the Director Of Rugby is grateful for what he has.
He said: “This week is another exciting week for us, as we have got four very good fixtures across the club.

The Seconds team have got their longest journey of the season with a trip to Bury St Edmonds and are leaving the club at about 7.45 in the morning on Saturday and they have got a fantastic team which is packed full of talent.
“I am really looking forward to seeing their result in a first-versus-second clash in Zoo Two, which is a really tough league with most of the sides in it in the National League Seconds team.
“So for us to be second in that league with a shot at going top this Saturday is testament to the work the coaching team and the boys have put in.”

One of the elements Croker has wanted to improve most was the strength in depth of the club to increase competition for places at the top.
The Seconds team face a long trip themselves to top-of-the-table Bury St Edmonds, who are just one point ahead of the Bournemouth second side.
That just shows the strength of personnel at Chapel Gate with the chance for their second string able to replicate the achievements of the first team.

Bournemouth Thirds will be looking to end a run of back-to-back Wadworth 6X Dorset and Wiltshire One South defeats when they welcome Bridport.
The club’s third team narrowly lost 8-3 at home to Wimborne Seconds last week following a crushing 43-0 home whitewash against Swanage and Wareham before that.
But Croker is backing them to come good against the Bridport first string.
He said: “The Thirds are at home to Bridport Firsts which is another good game for them.
“They need to just pick up a couple of victories

because they have been on the losing end of a couple of tight victories recently and we just want to see them pushing back towards the upper parts of that league.”

Bournemouth Bedouins travel to bottom-but-one Ellingham and Ringwood Thirds and Croker said local bragging rights will be on the line.
He said: “The Fourths are at Ellingham and Ringwood in another local derby.
“It is all very much exciting and we are doing all we can to ensure the players are match ready come Saturday.”

Here are the Bedouins legends that will be challenging Ellingham & Ringwood this very weekend.
