Will Croker hopes the Bournemouth Seconds’ team can repeat their away day heroics last weekend when they travel to Henley Hawks this Saturday.
The Lions’ second string head to West London this week fresh off the back of a stunning comeback at Bury St Edmunds last Saturday.
Following a 200-mile journey to Suffolk, the Chapel Gate men were 14-10 behind at the break, before an incredible second-half fight back
Croker said: “The Seconds are away again on the road having had an incredible victory at Bury St Edmunds last week, who were top of the table going into the game and were winning I believe 14-10 at half-time.
“But for us to fight back and win I think 14-44 is a fantastic result, and goes to show what real strength in depth we have got.
“There were a lot of guys who have been playing third team rugby who you would expect to see in our Seconds team, so it is a really exciting time for us.
“They have got another road trip this week - although this time not quite so far - to Henley which will be another belting game because Henley are obviously in the upper echelons of National Two so for us to be playing their Seconds is a really good test of where we are so it is exciting.”
