Bournemouth number eight Joe Rees hopes their winning habit can continue into next season in National Two South.
The Lions secured promotion following their bonus-point win over Exmouth at Chapel Gate.
The skipper says preparations are already underway to make sure they do not come straight back down again.
Rees said: “This winning habit we have created here is a big thing, and we are looking forward to the step up next year because we already feel like we are playing National Two South Rugby so we will find out where we are at next season.
“A lot of the boys have played in that division before and have been in that situation before so we know what to expect there.
“There is a good mix of old heads and really young raw talent this season at the club, which is really helping bring us up to where we need to be so we are really looking forward to it.”
The Lions have already tasted life in the fourth tier of English rugby after winning promotion to it in a few years ago.
Therefore, having seen what the standard is like in the division, they will know what is required to stay in it and not be relegated again - like last time.
Rees added: “National Two South is a different challenge altogether because the players are a lot bigger and a lot fitter.
“So we have already started preparations for that.
“We have just got to stick together as a unit and keep building on what we have done and keep believing in ourselves.”
