Bournemouth Rugby Club Chairman Phil Sinkinson advised, “Will Croker has stood down as Head Coach and Director of Rugby at Bournemouth Rugby Club. His departure is with immediate effect. Bournemouth Rugby Club is currently going through a strategic review which will dictate the future long-term strategy and direction of the Club.
In the meantime, an interim Performance Director has been appointed - Richard Sharp, a former and recently retired Bournemouth Rugby Club player will oversee all aspects of rugby, alongside coach Jon Sanchez to ably lead the 1st XV.
“I would like to thank Will for all the work that he has done at the Club over the last 5 years, a period of time that has seen us achieve great successes, both on and off the pitch. We achieved promotion last year, which has taken Bournemouth Rugby into the National League. Bournemouth Rugby is looking forward to an exciting season ahead and continuing to build on the platforms of success that we have achieved.
“We will endeavour to keep our Members and supporters informed of any Club changes, upon completion of the strategic review.”
