Summer Series is upon us and with some decent preparation under the belt we head to Stoke Mandeville Stadium over the weekend.

The players were full of eagerness to get playing only to be boosted by us being given a place in the Championship meaning we now have 2 sides playing with The Bournemouth Lions playing in the Premiership and The Bournemouth Rising representing in the Championship.

On Saturday 18 May The Lions will be facing off against Leicester Tigers, Solent Sharks and Ospreys B in Pool B of the Premiership.
All of these sides are well experienced and well coached and we look forward to implementing everything we worked on since our last outing in Plymouth. All the players have worked extremely hard in the pre season and are keen to get going.

Sunday 19 May sees the newly formed Bournemouth Rising have a crack at the Championship against Woodbridge Wheeled Warriors, Coventry WRC and Hatfield Comets in Pool A.
We know very little about these sides and as usual expect a hard day of Wheelchair Rugby.

Both squads have worked exceptionally hard and are looking forward to a great weekend of games.

I personally can not wait to hit court side and watch the players have a go. Spirits are high and we are looking to get a good start all around.
