Scott started playing Rugby at Wimborne RFC at the age of 9 Scott came to Bournemouth and joined the Under 11's team. Scott also played for Sothern RFC (Dunedin, New Zeland) Scott has also played in the Dorset and Wilts team. 

2004/5 Young Player of the Year.

2005/6 Young Player of the Year.

2006/7 1st XV Honours tie.

2008/9 Becomes leading inside centre with 24 starts.

2009/0 Player of the Year.

2015/6 Player of the Year.

2017/8 As of 20 Jan 2018: extends own inside centre record to 178 starts; with 71 tries, second highest try scorer behind Sam Hardcastle's 184; with 275 starts second highest behind Sam Hardcastle's 311 which is, ipso facto, the record for starts as a back; with 2 hat-tricks, one of ten players who have scored two or more hat-tricks; with 46 appearances as fly-half is second behind Jon Sanchez's 89; with 21 appearances as scrum-half is third behind Sam Hardcastle's 311 and Mike Marsh's 22; with 178 starts as inside centre is the third highest of starts in any one position behind Sam Hardcastle's 311 starts as scrum-half and Alan Manning's 191 starts as tighthead prop. Scott has recived his First XV Honours tie for Bournemouth Rugby.
