Bournemouth kicker Grant Hancox said the promotion-winning squad will not be putting their feet up over the summer.
The Lions have enjoyed a fantastic season after surging to the South West Premier title with 25 wins in their 26 fixtures to win the division by 27 points.
But with a big step up to the fourth tier of English rugby, fitness and skill levels are two areas the marksman says will be worked hard on by the squad.
Hancox said: “We are 100 per cent going to be working on those areas over the summer and the lads will take that ownership in the off season.
“I know from myself and a few of the other lads we won’t take the off season as a chance to put our feet up.
“It will be a chance to have a break from rugby but still get in the gym, get some fitness under our belts and get some air through those lungs.
“So we can come back at the start of July which is when we come back for pre-season firing and hit the ground running.”
The title-winning south coast side initially struggled to break down the men from Cheltenham - and did not score their first try until 19 minutes had passed.
But as soon as the whitewash was breached, the floodgates then opened up - especially in the final quarter where enough tries were scored for a second bonus point.
Hancox pinpointed improved accuracy as a key factor behind the late flurry - as well as having the fitness to run riot.
Hancox added: “I think fitness and general skill level were factors for the last 20 minutes of the match.
“We pride ourselves on our accuracy and our skill level and in the first half our skill levels were poor and our accuracy was poor and we were trying to force things like offloads when it was not necessarily the best option for us.
“But fitness is a massive thing and the boys work hard on their fitness in training and also the lads work hard away from training and get in the gym and put in extra sessions and it is going to be a massive step up next year.
“Fitness has got to be increased by probably another 50 per cent easily for us to compete and likewise our skill levels need to remain there to be competitive.”
