Bournemouth prop Luca Firetto said this is the best squad he has played with at Chapel Gate.
The Lions have only tasted defeat once this season in South West Premier and look on course for promotion following 15 wins from their opening 16 games.
But with a long way still to go in the campaign following just the second game of the second half of the season, Firetto said they are building something special.
He said: “The squad depth is definitely there and this is definitely the best Bournemouth squad we have had since I have come back to the club in recent years.
“There is a real togetherness within the club and a belief that we can really achieve good things this season, and everybody at the club are stepping up.
“On Thursday night at training, we were doing live run throughs against two other squads from our second and third teams so it just shows the depth the club has at the minute is fantastic.”
Firetto has been given a front row seat to their scrum success this season - which has seen them lose just one out of their 16 South West Premier fixtures so far this campaign.
There is always a strong rivalry at every club between the bigger boys up front and the quicker lads behind the scrum.
Firetto said that rivalry has helped drive up the standards of the team in their promotion pursuit.
He added: “The backs played well - but there was quite a bit of loose kicking in the second half - which I would like to comment on - because it did make it plenty of hard work for us forwards but the backs definitely improved on last week’s first-half performance.
“They finished off some great tries and once again I think Grant Hancox had a superb game at outside centre so it was a really, really tough game.
“It was a lot harder then last week because it presented a really different physical challenge, which we know Bracknell have got because they have got a massive pack.
“They showed that today with some big physical ball carriers so it was definitely a tough contest up front.”
