Harry Leadbeater says he wants to improve as much as possible now following a successful first season at Bournemouth.
After arriving at Chapel Gate from County rivals the Dorset Dockers, the lock has made a rapid rise into the first team.
He has helped solidify the lineout and spurred the first team on to securing the required bonus-point win over Exmouth to gain South West Premier promotion.
He said: “It is unbelievable to get promotion in my first season at the club - I still cannot quite believe it to be honest with you.
“I just want to get better and better and better and hopefully stay in the first team and get to play some National Two Rugby next year.
“That is the goal - to play fourth level rugby next season and I am just absolutely over the moon - it is just great.”
The second rower has worked hard to win his place in the first team alongside engine room partner Ben Roberts.
Prior to his promotion, Director Of Rugby Will Croker had experimented with the likes of back rowers Joe Rees and Jack Hennings in the middle of the pack.
Having come through at the Dockers and the Bournemouth Seconds team - who pushed 14 points clear of Bury St Edmunds Wolfhounds themselves on Saturday with a 46-20 win over London Irish Amateur Wanderers - Leadbeater said his transition could not have been any easier.
He added: “I appreciate all of the patience everyone at the club has given me, and I am just absolutely over the moon and I can’t believe it.
“All of the boys are really welcoming here at the club, and are really good groups of lads and they set out what I needed to improve quite early on and it allowed me to work on it and get better and better week on week.
“Everyone is always open to questions and stuff like that so I just cannot thank everyone here at Bournemouth enough.”
