Bournemouth boss Will Croker believes Ivybridge will have numerous weapons in their South West Premier top-of-the-table clash at Chapel Gate on Saturday (2.30pm).
The Lions have roared to the summit of the standings following an unbeaten start to the season with ten wins out of ten - which includes nine try-scoring bonus points.
But with their Devon opponents hot on their heels in second after winning eight of their games, Croker says Ivybridge will cause his side a number of problems.
He said: “Ivybridge have in recent years presented themselves to be an incredibly tough fixture for us.
“During that time honours have been pretty much even between us while we have been involved with the club.
“They are a proper grassroots-style rugby club and they have now got a fantastic facility and they have also had a 4G pitch laid.
“They have always had an exciting set of backs and they have got one of the best scrum-halves in the league outside of the guys what we have got at the club.
“They have got a full-back and outside centre who are two of the most exciting outside backs in the division, and in inside centre Billy Pinkus they also have got another player who is able to manipulate the boys around the pitch.”
It is not just behind the scrum where Croker is expecting danger to come from their opponents, with the Director Of Rugby also pinpointing their pack as an area of potential problems.
The Bournemouth scrum has provided Croker’s side with a solid platform from which to build upon this season, and the man in charge at Chapel Gate is anticipating a huge battle.
He added: “Their pack has never been that notoriously big - but they have always been hard and nuggety - and come with a really solid game plan.
“They look to try and push hard and put some big runners into the midfield if they can.
“They are always very well drilled and are well coached and are a really nice club and a good set of guys so I am delighted that they have had such a good start to the season.”
