Bournemouth legend Sam Hardcastle says he will let the dust settle on their promotion-winning campaign before deciding to retire or not.
The 37-year-old scrum-half has been at Chapel Gate for 20 years - but showed no signs of age catching up with him after scoring four tries.
After helping his side put basement boys Old Pats to the sword with a 80-3 thrashing, Hardcastle says he will take time to decide his future.
He said: “I have been asked if it was my last game for the club I don’t know how many times this season and I am really not sure yet.
“If I do finish playing now then it is a pretty good way to do it with promotion and scoring a few tries.
“It has been a good season so we will see in the pre-season or not what happens.
“It has been a really good season for us and it is really good to round it off like this in this fashion.
“We are quite happy with ourselves really.”
The Chapel Gate faithful witnessed the race to be all-time club points’ top scorer against the Cheltenham side.
Kicker Grant Hancox is hot on the heels of Hardcastle’s record, and the wily halfback said he would be more than happy if his team-mate surpassed him.
Hardcastle added: “To be fair, it’s not really a rivalry between me and Grant because the way Grant kicks, he is always going to score points - always.
“So every game he is going to score points so it is not a matter of if he does pass it, but when he does.
“But he will definitely beat it which I would be 100 per cent happy about because records are there to be broken so the fact I have had it for so long is good but like I say records are there to be broken and Grant will beat it in the next few games he plays.”
