Bournemouth's third try scorer Joe Tarrant admitted he should only have two hours' sleep before every game if it guarantees him a place on the scoresheet.
The front rower was taken ill on the eve of their clash at Camborne - and his place in the starting line-up was even in doubt right up until kick-off.
But the rampaging scrum tyro recovered in time to help his side register a bonus-point win in their longest journey they will make this season.
He said: "I had a bit of a rough night - being ill for most of it - and ended up only having about two hours sleep, after throwing up all night!
"So to be able to rally round and play 40 minutes - just about - and get a try was very good so I enjoyed it and the team did really well.
"I knew I was only going out there for about 40 minutes so I could just sort of empty the tank without really worrying about the rest of the game so I could just concentrate hard for 40 minutes and go out hard and we got the win."
Tarrant was one of an eventual six different Bournemouth players to breach the whitewash in Cornwall - and was one of two forwards to cross the line.
The other was lock Jack Hennings after The Lions blasted out of the blocks to score four tries - and register their fifth try bonus point in the opening six games - in the first 30 minutes.
All three Bournemouth replacements were also used in the opening half hour and Tarrant said it showed how strong the squad is at the moment.
He added: "We are really solid up front at the minute - everyone is really together and we are going from strength to strength really.
"So we can only get better and there are a lot of guys champing at the bit to get in the first team so that is good competition for places which is good for us."
