Will Croker says his Bournemouth side will not take their foot off the gas pedal despite winning South West Premier promotion.
The table-topping Lions travel to third placed Ivybridge in Devon looking to add to the 20-10 win at Chapel Gate at the end of November.
In the first of their last four games of a successful campaign, Director Of Rugby Croker said it would be disrespectful to the other teams to relax now.
He said: “I am a firm believer in the integrity of the league and for us to take any game lightly between now and the end of the season could potentially affect the race for the promotion play-off place and also for relegation.
“So we are focussed on doing our jobs and making sure we are as committed as we have been in the previous games.
“We are also taking the opportunity to work on things which as yet we are not entirely happy with in our game plan and which I believe we are going to need next year.”
It is not just the first team who have tasted success this season, with the Seconds side also chasing promotion from Division Two Of the Zoo Sports Shield.
With three fixtures left - including two at home - the second string find themselves 14 points clear of Bury St Edmunds Wolfhounds.
This weekend, they welcome fourth team Worthing Raiders A and Croker said the success of both Bournemouth teams shows how strong the squad is.
He added: “The Seconds team are working very hard towards trying to win Zoo Sports Shield Two which is one of the most competitive second team leagues that I have ever known, and the players are very focussed on that.
“The training numbers on Tuesday night were fantastic, and we are fielding four very strong squads this weekend.
“It is an opportunity for us to really lay down a marker not just for this season and to finish on a high - but for next season as well.”
