Will Croker says Bournemouth will “leave no stone unturned” for their final South West Premier match against relegated Old Pats at Chapel Gate on Saturday (3pm).
The Lions’ Director Of Rugby has seen his side go unbeaten at home this season, and wants to round off their campaign in style at the weekend.
Having wrapped up the RFU Level Five title and promotion to National Two South after losing their promotion play-off to Guernsey last April, Croker says there will be an air of celebration this weekend.
Croker said: “I am just going to ask them to do it for one more week with training on Tuesday and Thursday night and then the final home match on Saturday.
“Then we can hit it hard again and not leave any stone unturned and we are going to have the integrity to give the league the respect it deserves.
“We are certainly not going to take anything for granted or lightly because we still need to go out there and do the job as best as we can.”
The home side will head into the tie as heavy favourites having opened their campaign with a crushing 50-0 defeat of the Gloucestershire side in front of their own fans in September.
But with a long, hard summer ahead of them to prepare for a return to the fourth tier of English rugby, Cromer said they want to go out with a bang.
Croker added: “It is going to be a nice long break for the boys at the end of this week and then they can let their bodies recover in the summer.
“Everyone wants to be involved in the match and hopefully there will be a big party, and I’m sure there will be a big crowd so it will be a really nice way to celebrate the season.
“We have been through some tough bits this season, and we have been through some good bits this season, and I think it is just nice that we can all stay together this Saturday and really enjoy each other’s company.”
