Bournemouth head coach Will Croker is looking to end the first quarter of their South West Premier campaign with a road win at Camborne.
The Lions head to Cornwall in good shape following four bonus-point wins in their five victories out of five to sit joint top with Ivybridge.
But with their longest trip they will make this season on the cards, Croker says they are making an occasion of it.
He said: “It is with great excitement we go into this game at Camborne - it is our longest away trip of the season and that in itself creates its own different hurdles to get over.
“We are taking the opportunity - as we did last year - to take advantage of the hospitality of our sponsors Hoburne and we are going to go stay down there in their holiday park in Liskeard in order that the players are going to have a good rest come Saturday morning and then all get up together and have something to eat and stretch out our bodies ahead of the game.
“Camborne have had a good start - in some ways they have had some interesting results but they are always a very, very tough proposition at their ground so it is going to be one hell of a game.”
Following last Saturday’s 34-3 home success over Brixham at Chapel Gate - who themselves had travelled over 100 miles from Devon - a quarter of the season has now passed.
Croker says he is looking to mark that point in style with their fourth away win of the campaign already, but he has some personnel issues to deal with.
He added: “Mike Haines had to dip out last week due to work commitments so Grant Hancox has come back into captain the side at outside centre.
“We decided to keep the nine-ten-12 axis the same because we have not really been able to do that so far in games this season, and that has meant that Sam (Hardcastle), Scott (Chislett) and Carlos (Snell) are going to be our midfield.
“It is an exciting week because this represents the end of the first quarter of the season - would you believe? It is the sixth game out of 26 so it is almost the end of the first quarter point of the season, so if we can get a result on the road this week going into next week’s break in the season then we are set fair.”
