Bournemouth boss Will Croker says he will not settle for anything else other than constant improvement week on week.
The Lions secured just their second four-try scoring bonus point since the turn of the year on Saturday after beating Drybrook 34-10 at Chapel Gate.
The Director Of Rugby had to wait a long time into added time of a disjointed game before veteran scrum-half Sam Hardcastle dotted down, and Croker is demanding more from his charges.
He said: “We now want to get to the situation where we are improving week on week and that we are still getting better as we drive for this promotion at the end of the season.
“It is another game which is ticked off for us and another line drawn in the sand, which is now done.
“We have now got just six games to go until the end of the season, and we are looking forward to a big couple of weeks’ worth of training ahead now of what will then be a very tough match away at Exeter University a week on Saturday.”
The match struggled to gain any momentum - particularly in the second half - after the officials’ constant interference with the whistle.
Croker said a total of 33 penalties or free-kicks were awarded in a game in which he did not regard as either dirty or cynical.
But after overcoming stern opposition in the tenth placed Forest Of Dean side - who Bournemouth beat with a another four-try bonus point away at the end of October - Croker was delighted to get over the line.
He added: “I was really pleased that we managed to get the victory and certainly the bonus point against Drybrook - it is something since Christmas which we have not done well enough in getting the bonus points.
“Drybrook were the sort of team we expected them to be - they came out and attacked from everywhere and did not kick very often.
“They ran hard straight lines and made us make some decisions in our defence and then they tried to exploit the spaces.”
