Statement from our Landlord Bournemouth University - all community and grassroots sports will be prohibited during the lockdown period.
"In accordance with the latest government regulation and guidance around Covid-19, including the pause of community and grassroots sport, all non-educational sporting activities at Chapel Gate will be prohibited by law from Thursday 5 November until Thursday 3 December at the earliest.
The health and safety of our users is our first priority. We will work with users to reschedule any postponed training or fixtures once the regulations allow, and I am sure this is as disappointing to you as it is to us. Sporting activity for all age groups is essential for the physical and mental health of our community and we hope that this enforced pause will be for as short a period as possible.
There will continue to be access to all leased premises on the site (including the nursery, Table Tennis, Squash and the Gun Club) but you should contact the relevant leaseholder directly to determine if they are open or if there are any access restrictions before visiting Chapel Gate. Anyone accessing the facilities must follow the COVID rules being put in place by the government and the existing BUCB rules for the site".
Rugby training will continue remotely and will be communicated to you by your team manager.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
