Bournemouth Director Of Rugby Will Croker has paid testament to the strength in depth of his squad ahead of the South West Premier visit of Brixham on Saturday.
The Lions have been no strangers to injury and unavailability problems and this week sees a reshuffle in the back line.
Battering ram inside centre Scott Chislett moves to fly-half meaning there is a new midfield partnership in Carlos Snell and Michael Haines and Croker is pleased with the options he has.
He said: "We have struggled to field a settled side this season.
"Injuries predominantly and some unavailability mean we have had to shuffle.
"It is testament to the squad depth we have worked so hard to create that it hasn't knocked us off course to date.
"Losing our Captain Joe Rees and Vice Captain Grant Hancox to freak toe injuries, Freddie Gleadowe, Karim Lynch, Adam Davies and Mike Pope to further knocks would hit most squads quite hard, as there is bucket loads of talent in that little lot, but we've seen the likes of Chris Jeffes and Alex Everett Bolter step back in as though they had never been away."
Snell and Haines will form a new-look centre partnership and Croker is full of praise for the pair of them.
Croker added: "Carlos Snell is someone that has been in and around the 1st XV at various times in my tenure - as a youngster coming through from the colts.
"A 12 by profession, he has seen his chances limited a little by Scott Chislett.
"However, he is an incredibly talented boy.
"Strong in the tackle, with a good skill set he will play way over a 100 games for the first team in years to come.
"Outside him is a newbie - Michael Haines.
"Mike has joined us this season and is a teacher - currently at Canford.
"He has trained with us since the beginning of the season but the Schools fixtures have meant we haven't been able to get him on the pitch yet.
"This will be the case pretty much up to the beginning of December with the odd exception.
"Mike was at Exeter Uni last year playing in their BUCS Premier side and represented Exeter Braves in the A league, he was also called into the England Students squad.
"He has impressed all, coaches and players alike with his attitude, willingness to put the work in training with no game at the end of it and for his ability."
