Congratulations to our 3rd team, who came away as champions in their cup battle against North Dorset. Bournemouth Wanderers have played in the Dorset and Wiltshire 3rd XV cup of Dorset and Wilshire knock out competition and beated touth opposition to come out champions. Director of Rugby Will Crooker has said “Congratulations to the 3rds on their cup win. Played some good stuff in horrid conditions. Special mention to Will Cooper who I thought looked a threat throughout and Jon Holdaway for a super first 40.”
NO Dogs
A reminder to all members and visitors that no dogs are allowed anywhere within Bournemouth Sports club. Recently we have has to turn a few people away from the sports club who have theirs dogs with them. Bournemouth Sports club is private land and for the safety of players dogs are banned from the sports club. Thank you for your cooperation.
Monthly Draw
Revamp of the monthly draw. Be in it to win it!!!
As part of our commitment to the development of both the playing and facility side of the club, we are revamping the Club Monthly Draw to increase membership, raise more funds for the club and give everyone associated with the club the opportunity to win prizes on a monthly basis.
What is it?
A fun way to raise club funds and give supporters the chance to win a cash prize.
What does it cost?
£5 per number per month (paid by standing order).
How do I join?

You will be allocated a Draw Number
How does it work? - A monthly draw takes place, this will be made on the last day of the month. The draw will be made in the clubhouse.
There are 2 prizes each month 1st number drawn wins £50 and 2nd number drawn £25.
Winners will be notified of their prize and details of the draw will be posted on the Monthly Draw section of the website.
Membership is not restricted to Club Members, Family & friends can also join.

A number is only “owned”if the standing order is paid and will only be entered into the prize draw if the standing order is paid; we cannot accept late payments.

Next match
A reminder that Bournemouth first IV The Lions next match is on Saturday 4th March 2017 away to Launceston. This will be a hard game against tougth oposition who since the new year have been the team on form beating teams at the top of the league. A win for Bournemouth could see us move up into play off positions. Come and support us away. The following weekend we will be at home against Camborne.
