We’re thrilled to announce that Bournemouth Rugby is once again partnering with the AECC (Anglo-European Chiropractic College) this season.

Based in Parkwood Road, Bournemouth, the AECC offers state-of-the-art facilities to Bournemouth Rugby players.  Its High Performance Centre offers an unparalleled range of high tech functional evaluation tools, perfect for assisting the players in treatment, rehabilitation and conditioning. In particular, the Primus machine (pictured), one of only two on the south coast, is a specialised measuring and training device that can be used to improve strength and control through a variety of movements specific to the individual and their sporting requirements.  Full Story

Neil Osbourne, Director of Clinic commented: “Having already worked with the likes of Red Bull and the European Space Agency, the High Performance Centre is a fantastic asset for the AECC, providing bespoke testing capabilities relevant at the cutting edge of performance optimisation.”

The College also has its own treatment clinic. As the AECC Clinic is part of the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic, one of the oldest and most trusted chiropractic colleges in the world, players will be treated by one of its student clinicians in their final year of training. Clinical training is closely supervised by fully qualified and experienced chiropractors who are registered with the General Chiropractic Council.

The AECC is a renowned higher education college providing education and clinical training in the fields of chiropractic and other healthcare subject areas, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The college has recently been awarded Taught Degree Awarding Powers, allowing the ability to validate, deliver and award its own degrees.
